“Hello” she says with tiredness and defeat in her voice.

“Hey” she heard his voice. The same distress in his voice as in hers, she takes a deep breath and let it out.

Her voice kinds of breaks as she responds to him after taking a moment to think

“Hey” He knows they’re both in deep pain because what they both thought could be love ended in them both giving up. 

“Come over” he said in a sudden stutter. She let out another breath taking in what he offered.

“Don’t say a word just come over and lie here with me”

“Kendall…”

“Cause’ I’m just about to set fire to everything I see. I want you so bad I’ll go back on the things I believe.  And there I just said it I’m scared that you’ll forget about me. “He slowly softly sings the song they danced to on their first date. There were so many things that could make her say no but she didn’t even give her brain time to think about them.

“Okay”

“See yah soon”

She hung up as he lingered on the phone. The dial tone echoed while he realized she didn’t turn him down.  As much as it hurt to be together it hurt worse to be apart. Shortly after their phone conversation he heard his door bell ring. He stands and makes his way to the door. As he opens he sees her with the look he expected. It showed just as much as it did in her voice. 

“Hi” she lets out as shyly as she did when she said hello the first met.

“Hi” he says smiling. He let out a breath of relief and relaxing knowing he could beg for another chance. He moved out the way for her to come in. She turns around after walking through the door just as he begins to walk. They walked into each other’s arms but laughed it off. As she began to pull back he held on. She didn’t mind just pulled in tighter. Both of them saying “I’m sorry” at the same time made them giggle at each other. He lets go and grabs her hand leading her to his room. She moves casually behind him. He moves the stuff off his bed and sits down. He pulls her onto his lap and lays back into the pillows. She moves her head all sorts of ways until finding the right spot in his chest. He snickers in her ear, everything he loves is in his arms and that’s all that matters. He plays with her hair while she messes with his free hand.

“I miss this” she says drawling circles in his palm.

“Me too” he says realizing this moment could possibly be over if this ended with the usual fighting.

“As crazy as it sounds do you think we can try……. Us again?” she asks as soon as she does he stops playing with her hair. It takes him a minute to say anything and she worries. The silence ate away at her soul she shouldn’t have asked. He comprehends what she wants and he wants the same but it took him awhile to overcome the shock of her wanting him back. As she began to move to leave he shows her he’s the incredible man she’s in love with.

“It’s not crazy…. its fate” she looks up at him and smiles as he pulls her face to his. With his kind words he knew he could never tell her no. Their hearts would most likely end in heartbreak again but he would let his heart go through hell just to keep her near. She smiles and leans in. His warm lips press gently to hers. He pulls her back to her position on top of him. He rubbed her sides and she let her fingers tangle in his hair. She falls back and fell in between his legs. He chuckles at her clumsiness but never breaks her kiss. He brings his hand up to her face. He pulls back and stares into her beautiful eyes. She blushes and rests her forehead against his. Her hair falls down on her side and makes her look so innocent. The look he loved the most.

“I love you” he says seeing the spark come back alive in her eyes.

“I love you too” as she says her lines she smiles. They both seek lust in each other’s eyes and there wasn’t anything holding them back this time. He smiles flashing his teeth and tucks her hair behind her ear. She laughs as she stokes his face. She leans up and kisses him with everything she had as he returned the same passion. Being with each other was all they needed and they weren’t going to fight it anymore. They were now in the edge of desire with no turning back.
